If you believe that Akron and Youngstown State should renew their football rivalry in a home-and-home series, then please comment below that you are in support of such a deal. In 2014, Ball State of the Mid-American Conference will be traveling to FCS Illinois State of the Missouri Valley Football Conference to play in the second game of the 2013-2014 home-and-home deal.

Breaking News: According to St. Pete Times writer Greg Auman, the athletes facebook page, and our own sources, Youngstown State has added a much needed cornerback transfer to the 2011 roster. Former University of Miami CB, Devont'a Davis, has transferred to Youngstown State to play football. Davis will have four years of eligability with the Penguins.

Upon graduating from Gainsville High School, Davis was rated a 3-star recruit by Rivals, Scout, and ESPN. Besides an offer to the University of Miami, Davis also had offers to Arkansas, Iowa State, Louisville, South Carolina, and Central Florida.

Here is footage of today's press conference at Stambaugh Stadium as Coach Wolford previewed the spring roster and the next few weeks as we enter spring ball 2011. The Red-White Spring Game is on April 16th at Noon and Coach Wolford wants 8,000 people there! Let's make it happen!
